Performance monitoring provides the external perspective of uptime,
response time, performance and reliability of a website or web
application.
To be clear, Webmetrics does not provides Website Analytics (i.e.
the analysis of website traffic and how website visitors have traversed
a website).

Who is Webmetrics?
Webmetrics is a leading provider of collaborative Performance Management

testing and monitoring services are used by companies and SaaS

services test, monitor and measure the performance of websites,

Webmetrics has been providing external performance monitoring
and load testing services since 1999.
How does Webmetrics do Performance
Monitoring?
At the very simplest level: Webmetrics makes a single request
or series of requests that constitutes a transaction on a website,
web application or web service periodically (e.g. every hour or
every 20 minutes, even every minute) to assess its performance.
If the site fails to respond or responds more slowly than a predefined
threshold, Webmetrics sends an alert via email or to a mobile phone.
Webmetrics provides analysis and reporting tools to investigate
individual performance issues and track performance over time.
These performance results data are available in a variety of formats,
such as Widgets and via APIs.
How do I filter out your monitor
traffic from my webserver logs?
You can either filter out our traffic with the string "Webmetrics" in
the User Agent header or filter out our traffic by our IP addresses.
For Webmetrics GlobalWatch accounts, filter out the following IP
addresses:
