Widget Overview
Webmetrics GlobalWatch provides a simple and flexible reporting
tool that allows customers to share performance information with
key stakeholders – both internally and externally.
The Webmetrics Widget constantly updates every 5 minutes showing
the recent availability and performance of a monitored service
(website, web application or web service).
For an example of a Widget, please see right, showing the recent
performance of Amazon’s Elastic Cloud.
More detailed
performance reports and statistics are
available by clicking on the Widget. Additionally, viewers can
add to this Widget to their own webpages, using the HTML code
provided on the detailed performance report page.
Activate your Widget
To activate the Widget, customers should log into their Control
Panel. Each service has its own 'Widget' tab. Click on this
tab and follow the instructions on this page.
Once activated, the customer use the snippet of HTML code that
can be embedded into any HTML page - for example a Customer Support
or Current Status page that they might share with their customers,
partners or key internal stakeholders.
